SHOWA founded in 1954. Mr. Tanaka, the founder of SHOWA in 1954, embedded the following key elements in his founding philosophy and vision. Brand Logo, designed for the future
SHOWA® implemented and launched a global rebrand in 2014, our 60th anniversary. The brand, hand logo and tagline reflects the modern and enduring characteristics of our great company. The font is unique to SHOWA, and the fingers above the “O” represent a SHOWA glove former. The color pallet is a mixture of vibrant green, with a strong black and bright white hue. The new tagline is a tribute to the pioneering spirit of our company and commitment to carry that same dedication into the future, “Always innovating. Never imitating” expresses an attitude and determination to bring new technologies and innovations to the marketplace. This is our commitment to our employees and our customers.
