• Realized stable supply by factory automation

  SHOWA further established its place in the hand protection industry by achieving 24 hours of production in an unattended factory. This was initially established in our NIBUNO factory in Japan. Then, applying lessons learned and the SHOWA methodology, our manufacturing expanded to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Myanmar in Asia as well five manufacturing facilities in the Americas. SHOWA’s strict controls and innovative processes enable our ability to manufacture high-quality products with both consistency and stability. One of the many manufacturing innovations is locating in our Malaysian facility. Our engineers installed state-of-the art robotics developed by intellectual technology which led to greater efficiency while relieving the need for difficult human labor.

  SHOWA is not only researching usability and function of our products but also has a commitment to restrict the use of harmful materials and chemicals for plant-wide safety. We adhere to the RoHS directive, reject allergens, decrease the use of chemicals that can irritate the skin and produce hand protection that is entirely safe for human use.

  SHOWA abides to a thorough quality control policy, which incorporates international standards into our company standard. SHOWA promotes standardization of quality standard in the global marketplace. Our goal is to produce hand protection that meets global standards, and adjusting to regional needs when necessary.

  SHOWA was certified ISO9001, the international quality management system in 2002. We apply it to all processes from design through development to manufacturing, and finally to distribution. We provide our customers with gloves that clearly pass testing and meet all global standards and norms. This practice is part of our commitment – to contribute to society by providing safety and security to people throughout the world through the strictest testing, and highest quality standards.
